It
certainly
is
a
lot
of
fun
for
kids
to
see
their
own
face
on
the
computer
screen
while
they
experiment
with
makeup,
jewelry
and
best
of
all,
hair
styles.
Getting
their
photo
into
place
in
this
Barbie-themed
program
takes
some
persistence
as
the
menu
is
somewhat
confusing.
If,
however,
children
have
a
clear,
scanned
or
digital
picture,
they're
sure
to
get
a
charge
out
of
trying
out
blunt
cuts,
long
hair
and
other
hairdos
in
several
colors
and
styles.
Testers
had
a
tough
time
getting
around
the
program
but
ultimately
found
what
they
were
looking
for.
Figuring
out
how
to
get
their
pictures
into
the
makeover
portion
was
tricky
but
each
tester
succeeded
eventually.
The
program's
biggest
weakness
is
cursor-related.
After
installation,
the
mouse
and
cursor
became
unresponsive
on
four
out
of
six
test
computers-
failing
to
work
even
on
the
Barbie
computer!
Only
systems
with
at
least
400
MHz
as
well
as
3D
Accelerator
cards
ran
the
CD
successfully.

CANNOT
make
makeovers
for
yourself.

think
that
since
the
mattel
company
improved
over
the
last
couple
of
years
they
should
make
a
"Barbie
Digital
Makeover
2"
It
would
be
an
entertainment
to
the
whole
family
(including
dads
and
brothers)
for
months.

and

child

happy
forever
because
